I decided to wait a few days to post this with LA $I decided to wait a few days to post this with LA burning down and mourning Jimmy Carter and a genocide still raging and, ugh, January 20 on the horizon. But I was out walking our sweet rescue, Max, Wednesday morning, got pulled suddenly and fell down and fractured my fibula (I’ll spare you the photos). I’m now in a rehab facility for 7-10 days recovering from surgery. I will not be weight bearing for at least six weeks, but I’m expected to make a full recovery. Not the worse fate for a writer (I’m hoping to get back to my writing this week). I’m good, managing my pain, and staying positive. My daughters have come to visit and I have the best husband - what a gift. If you’re praying person, I’d appreciate your prayers as I start intensive PT and OT tomorrow. Love you guys.
