As those of us who belong to book clubs know, they are about so much more than books. They are about gathering with like-minded friends and neighbors who share a common love: the comradery of a shared reading experience.
I became a reader at the age of four and fell in love with books when I read Blue Willow by Doris Gates when I was eight. I’ve been in love with books ever since. I love them so much that I decided to write my own book, Untethered: Faith, Failure, and Finding Solid Ground, which was released April 5, 2022.
I hope you’ll consider Untethered for your local book club. If you live in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, or Georgia, I may be able to join you in person. If you live somewhere else, no guarantees, but I’m always up for a good adventure! I’m also happy to join you virtually (Zoom, FB Live).
Untethered has already been chosen by a number of book clubs, including The International Pulpwood Queens and Timber Guys, which chose my book as their Official 2022 Book-of-the-Month Pick for December. To learn more or to join us (it’s free!), click here.
In the box you’ll find a link to the Untethered Discussion Guide. If you decide to read Untethered, please let me know. If you follow me on social media, take a photo of your book club with Untethered, tag me, and I’ll share with my followers!
Thank you for joining me on this journey. Happy reading!
Laura
